The Joy of Sax: Kenny G

Blast from the past, got to interview Kenny G at China Rouge in Galaxy Macau. Super nice guy and friendly, as expected.  But it was slightly bizarre meeting someone live, in person, who you've normally only seen on TV, from from the 80s!!

Feature in Prestige magazine. And a lengthy one in Galaxy magazine.

Also my first shoot with the super talented photographer Until Chan. Didn't know what he was doing during the making of... but the results were awesome. Hope to book him for every celebrity shoot!

The G Spot
Saxophonist KENNY G, one of the world's most commercially successful musicians, continues to mesmerise his audiences with the joy of sax. P.Ramakrishnan caught up with him at a concert in Macau.
All Portraits: Until Chan.

It's easy to recognise Kenny G. Since he first stated playing on stage (as a backup instrumentalist for the vibrating baritone of Barry White) at the age of 17, those copious curls on his slender frame have made for an instantly recognisable silhouette. This was no less the case when he played to a packed house at China Rouge, Galaxy Macau.

"It's my first time here, though I've been to Macau a few times before," he says, standing back and staring ath teh club's lavish decor. "I like it, it's beautiful. I like how you can actually see the audience." Kenny G is well acquainted with being content. He is a Guinness Record Holder of two titles: his sixth studio album...."

Full feature in Prestige.
